John Fiordaliso
|
John Fiordaliso is the founder and president of Gold Shield Protection Group. He is also an Armed Protection Specialist and retired Law Enforcement Officer.
Executive Protection: Mr. Fiordaliso and his staff are currently assigned to several individuals and family members comprising the top tier of the Fortune / Forbes 100 Lists.
Law Enforcement: Mr. Fiordaliso retired as a Sergeant with the New York City Police Department. At the time of his promotion to sergeant, he was the youngest member of the department to achieve that rank. Mr. Fiordaliso was a member of the NYPD Highway Patrol and retired as a sergeant with the highly regarded 9th PCT.
Martial Arts/Close Quarter Skills and Tactical Firearms: Mr. Fiordaliso is a brown belt (Nanzen Kai Karate) and has studied various defense systems. He is one of the senior instructors for the company’s “Close Quarter Options” Self Defense Program. Mr. Fiordaliso is a pistol expert and has participated in numerous NRA and Law Enforcement training programs, simulations and tournaments. Mr. Fiordaliso is also an expert instructor in the use of police baton, defense sprays and other defensive techniques.
Corporate: As president of Gold Shield Protection Group, Mr. Fiordaliso has attended numerous courses and seminars related to entrepreneurial success and business management. Mr. Fiordaliso is on the Board of Directors of BUCKS - a Staten Island Business Network Group.
Training: Mr. Fiordaliso has attended numerous courses and seminars related to Executive Protection such as: high risk personal protection (driving, medical and firearms); executive assistance/planning; defensive, tactical and evasive driving; emergency medical response; surveillance detection and evasion.

Joseph Cuccia

Joseph Cuccia is an armed Protection Specialist and Director of Gold Shield Protection Group. He is currently assigned to several individuals and family members comprising the top tier of the Fortune / Forbes 100 Lists.
Military: Mr. Cuccia served in the United States Marine Corps and is a VietNam Combat Veteran. In addition to Jungle Warfare and Marine Corps Raider tactics, Mr. Cuccia specialized in Nuclear Biological and Chemical Warfare and received his certification in Radiological Monitoring from the University of Hawaii. Mr. Cuccia is an assistant instructor for the company’s training seminars in Counter Terrorism and WMD Tactics and Responses.
Martial Arts/Close Quarter Skills and Tactical Firearms: Mr. Cuccia is a black belt (Shotokan Karate - www.canarsiekarateclub.com) and lifelong martial arts practitioner. He is the chief instructor for the company’s Close Quarter Self Defense Program. He is also a licensed handgun expert and has participated in numerous NRA and Law Enforcement training programs and tournaments (combat/tactical and sport). Mr. Cuccia is licensed to carry a firearm in NY/NJ/CT and 34 other states.
Corporate: Mr. Cuccia retired as a Vice President of J.P. Morgan – Financial Division. His accomplishments included the design and administration of evaluation programs for Operational Internal Controls, Accounting and Financial Management Reporting. As Financial Vice President Mr. Cuccia traveled throughout Asia, Europe and the U.S. to oversee the development of Financial Reporting, Budget and Accounting Controls.

Erik Tjornhom
Erik Tjornhom has recently returned from active military duty with the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Tjornhom is currently a New York City Police Officer. In addition to his Marine Corps training, Mr. Tjornhom has attended numerous training courses and a variety of state licensing/certification programs regarding the familiarity and use of various defense weapons for law enforcement and authorized civilian use. Mr. Tjornom serves as an assistant instructor certified in such areas as: Defense Spray; Police Baton; Firearms (including assault rifle; shotgun and handgun) and Taser/Stun Gun.
